The meaning of Posh, is amazing,
And not one little bit like a word,
For years gone by on cruiser lines
( Only the Posh could afford).
They travelled on the P and O lines,
That’s P for Port and O for out,
The sun shone on them all the way,
Which seemed right, without a doubt.
On the way back, it was different,
They travelled S and H by gosh!
They still had the sun on them all the way back,
This meant Starboard and Home, spelling POSH!
